IMAGINE MAJESTY™ CODE OF CONDUCT

The IMAGINE MAJESTY™ game (the “Game”) includes the option or ability for players (“you” or “your”) to create and use custom game modes, narratives, scenarios, and other game elements, and to create Fan Content and User Content.  This flexibility allows players to use the Game’s mechanics and Our Intellectual Property to create unique personal content, experiences and challenges, which is encouraged by Imagine Majesty Productions (“IMP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

There are, however, certain “ground rules” that apply to such customizations, Fan Content, and User Content.  By purchasing or playing the Game you agree to the ground rules set forth in this Code of Conduct,  as well as to our Game License and Fan Content Policy (collectively, “IMP Agreements”), which are incorporated fully herein by reference.  Copies of all of these agreements are included with the Game and can also be viewed online at www.imaginemajesty.com/legal.html.  Breach of one or more IMP Agreements may terminate any license granted under those agreements.

It’s not personal – keep it that way.  When creating content under IMP Agreements, do not use the name or likeness of other individuals or organizations in a way that is deemed offensive or that suggests sponsorship.  Some examples include:
Names or images created with the intent to harm the reputation of another.
Names or images created with the intent to impersonate another.
Names containing profanity, obscene slang, graphic anatomical references, racial, ethnic, sexist, or religious slurs.
Names that would reasonably be viewed as advertising or promoting the goods/services of yourself or another.
Names that would reasonably be viewed as suggesting affiliation with or sponsorship by another (including IMP), without the express permission of any such individual/entity.

Keep it (relatively) clean.  Do not incorporate obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, graphically or gratuitously violent, derogatory, demeaning, malicious, defamatory, abusive, offensive, hateful or discriminatory language or content into your content, or use otherwise permissible content in a manner that may reasonably be considered obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, graphically or gratuitously violent, derogatory, demeaning, malicious, defamatory, abusive, offensive, hateful or discriminatory.  Please consider context, as something that may reasonably be considered, e.g., “gratuitously violent” in one context may reasonably not be interpreted the same way in another.

Keep it legal.  Do not intentionally purchase or distribute infringing or pirated copies of the Game or other IMP products.  Do not intentionally purchase or distribute content that infringes the rights of others.  If you transfer your copy of the Game to someone else you must include with it copies of the IMP Agreements, or include a written notice that these agreements can be located at www.imaginemajesty.com/legal.html.

Play Fair.  Don’t bribe, cheat or steal from other players (unless that is part of the game mechanic).  Don’t engage in any unsportsmanlike conduct that affects gameplay.

If we learn of an alleged violation of this Code of Conduct we may, in our sole discretion, issue a formal warning, or may terminate the IMP Agreement that has been violated.  We may also, in our sole discretion, forward any reported infringement of the intellectual property rights of another to the owner of said rights, or to the owner’s designated representative.

All capitalized terms used in this Code of Conduct and not defined herein shall have the meanings set forth in the Game License and Fan Content Policy.  This Code of Conduct is only a guideline.  We may alter and/or deviate from these terms at any time and in any manner without notice, and we reserve all rights and remedies available in law and equity.
